Global Relief and Support Corporation (GRSCORP) Acquires 101 Acres in Duanesburg, NY for a Transformative Project Benefiting Individuals with Autism

In a heartwarming development, the Global Relief & Support Corporation (GRSCorp) has recently acquired 101 acres of land in Duanesburg, NY on 29th December 2023, marking a significant step towards their mission of enhancing the lives of individuals and families impacted by autism. This generous endeavor was made possible through the donation of a known couple who, in an act of humility, have chosen to remain anonymous.

Duanesburg is a town in Schenectady County, New York, in the western part of the county. It was originally known as Duanes’ Bush and established as a township on March 13, 1765. The town is named after James Duane, who originally held most of it as a land grant.

A Visionary Collaboration

GRSCorp expressed deep gratitude to the anonymous donors, emphasizing the invaluable role played by Bill Keal and Asad Butt from The People’s Real Estate Group, who volunteered their time to facilitate the real estate transaction.

“We appreciate the incredible generosity of the donors and the invaluable assistance provided by the realtors from The People’s Real Estate Group. Their contribution will play a crucial role in advancing our mission and creating a positive impact on the lives of individuals with autism,” said a spokesperson for GRSCorp.

A Nature Haven for Autism

The newly acquired land aligns seamlessly with GRSCorp’s mission and purpose. The organization envisions creating a nature trail and outdoor activities tailored for individuals with autism. This inclusive space will be open to the public, featuring enhanced special needs assistance, no queues for individuals with autism, therapy animals, and a camping area designed for families to enjoy.

Supporting the Mission

Funds raised and profits generated from this project will be directed back to GRSCorp, further supporting their advocacy, education, and support services for individuals with autism and their families. This initiative serves as a beacon of hope, offering a nurturing environment where families and individuals impacted by autism can connect with nature and each other.

Governance Board for Project Oversight

In addition to the exciting developments, GRSCorp has announced the formation of a dedicated governance board specifically for overseeing the development of this land. This board will ensure the successful implementation of the nature trail and other amenities, with a focus on achieving project milestones.
